The drive to the ski resort is about one hour, depending on the traffic. The ski resort is at 1700 m above sea level and we will spend at least 2 hours. Light and bird activity is best in the morning, but afternoon sessions are also possible.\n\n\n\nAfter the end of the session, i will drive you back to your hotel. We can do an extension and include a session in the city parks and look for Black Woodpecker and Long-eared Owls. The latter roost in a quiet courtyard in the city.\n\n\n\nWhen can I photograph the Nutcrackers?\n\n\n\nThe season starts from December and ends in mid-March\n\n\n\nWhat is included in the price?\n\n\n\n\nhotel pick up and drop off;\n\n\n\nlocal transport to the site;\n\n\n\nguiding;\n\n\n\n\nWhat to expect?\n\n\n\nThe photography session is in a ski resort. There are certain facilities to warm up and eat. Be prepared for snow and cold weather. The temperature may be down to -10 but often around 0 Celsius.\n\n\n\nHow to dress?\n\n\n\n\ndress in layers;\n\n\n\nbring gloves and a hat.\n\n\n\nwaterproof shoes and clothes;\n\n\n\nthermals;\n\n\n\n\nWhat equipment to bring?\n\n\n\n\nany DSLR or mirrorless camera that will allow you to take at least 5 frames per second;\n\n\n\nTripod is helpful but not a must;\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nContact\n\n\n\nFeel free to contact me if you have any questions using the form here.\n\n\n\nGallery\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
